Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical problems on equipment to keep production machinery operating.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lockout / Tagout equipment as required to working safely.
- Clean and lube machinery and equipment.
- Inspect component and replace as required.
- Verify all safety features are in place and operating properly.
- Disassemble and evaluate problems.
- Order replacement parts.
- Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic repair.
- Handle confidential information on a regular basis.
- Ensure Preventative Maintenance tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years on the job experience.
- Must know how to use calipers, micrometers, indicators, multimeter.
- Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
- Good mechanical aptitude and experience with electrical, hydraulic and air components.
- Ability to manage and schedule multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
- Ability to use computer and software as required.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds; push/pull up to 70 pounds; transfer 50 – 100 pounds with the help of another person.
- Must be able to bend, squat, twist, climb and kneel.
- Good hearing and vision; color vision.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
