- Worksite Location: On-site in St. Cloud, MN
- Compensation: $65,000-$78,000 per year
What you will do as the Senior Accountant: - Manage month-end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and review journal entries to record financial transactions and adjustments
- Conduct regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including AP and AR functions
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements, with a focus on automation and optimization
- Serve as a backup for AP and AR processes, ensuring continuity and efficiency in financial operations
- Perform year-end reviews and assist in the preparation of annual budgets
- Provide support during audits and financial assessments
- Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices
What you will bring to the role as the Senior Accountant: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience in process improvement, with a focus on automation and optimization
- Experience in month-end close procedures, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
