Job description
Control Engineer
Our client a leading chemical manufacturing company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Control Engineer to join our team. This is a fulltime position with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement control systems for chemical manufacturing processes
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing control systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and implement process improvements
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Develop and maintain documentation for control systems including technical specifications operating procedures and maintenance schedules
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on control system operation and maintenance
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in control system technology and make recommendations for upgrades and improvements as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Chemical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in control engineering preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of control systems and programming languages such as PLC DCS and SCADA
- Experience with process control and instrumentation including PID loops and control valves
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations for chemical manufacturing
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
