Location: Remote
Position Description: The SharePoint Developer is responsible for the creation, management, configuration, and customization of SharePoint sites.
Minimum/General Experience: 5-7 years of experience
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Excellent experience with Web-related technologies and techniques (e.g., SharePoint, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, REST, XML, XSDL, XHTML, CSS)
- Excellent ability to provide detailed, analytical, and troubleshooting between different programming languages technologies that work with in SharePoint
- Above average understanding of the difference between built in functionality that can be implemented simply and the need for custom coding
- Above average ability to test and ensure programs you have developed function properly
- Above average familiarity with SharePoint 2019 workflows, Infopath , and SharePoint Designer
- Above average understanding of business requirements and information technology ( IT ) strategies
- Familiarity with SharePoint master pages and themes
- Experience with a utomating business processes in workflows that validate content, manage roles and permissions, routing, notification, and web services
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint 2019 (e.g., building out sites with custom SharePoint workflows, custom SharePoint lists, custom SharePoint libraries, and custom SharePoint list forms utilizing mainly out of the box SharePoint features ) ( preferred )
- Knowledge of the design and development of web parts, custom SharePoint controls, and web sites in a SharePoint 2019 environment ( preferred )
Security : Ability to obtain/ maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust
- U.S. Citizenship or P ermanent R esident that has lived in the United States for at least 3 years

Tasks/activities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage s SharePoint site collections as well as individual sites
- Provide s recommendations for improvements to site processes design and functionality
- Maintain s working knowledge of emerging technologies and tools for future client use
- Provide s SharePoint Development, Workflow creation, Workflow testing, InfoPath development
- Participate s in processes concerning the architecture of new applications to meet client needs
- Function s as a power user for SharePoint and site collection administrator
- Coordinate s with technical and non-technical staff from multiple departments to accomplish interdepartmental initiatives
- Use s JavaScript, CSS, JSON and other applicable technologies to create SharePoint pages, forms, and workflows
- Utilize s Master Pages, Page Layouts, Web Parts, Apps, Windows Workflow Foundation, and other SharePoint technologies
- Participate s in processes concerning the architecture of new applications to meet client needs
- Help s establish and improve best practices and standards regarding the development environment and overall processes
- Assess es new and relevant web technologies
- Prepare s and update development documentation
