Job description
Volks Resources has an immediate requirement for Outside Plant (OSP) Fielders in Missouri.
The further back your experience goes, the better fit you are for this position.
I'm looking for Old-School OSP Fielders. Someone that knows what Old-School OSP Cable and Equipment looks like.
This is going to be a good project.
Older AT&T experience gets you to the front of the line!
You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Are you available? Who else do you know? I need several Fielders here and in 6 other states!
The project consists of identifying existing older Outside Plant on AT&T structure. You'll be assigned large maps with pre-identified cables to be inspected. You will need to walk out these areas, taking pictures of poles, attachments, Handholes, etc. You will be collecting this info from an app on your smart phone. You will also need to understand how to properly know if a telephone pole is in good or poor shape.
OSP Fielder
You MUST have previous Outside Plant (OSP) experience on older OSP Cable Plant.
You will be responsible for performing Site Walks/Visits for inspection and verification of OSP Cable Plant to include pole analysis.
You will perform site visits to document cable type in pre-identified locations.
You must have solid OSP experience on older Cable Plant.
This includes both aerial and underground.
