Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Assessing patients' physical, psychosocial, and spiritual status in a comprehensive manner.

• Performing initial and ongoing assessments, including observation, physical examination, laboratory/test results, and patient response to procedural intervention.

• Participating in the identification and clarification of patient needs as evidenced by participation in multidisciplinary care planning to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

• Assisting other staff in the delivery of patient care, as appropriate.

• Incorporating patient teaching/discharge planning to promote optimal patient outcomes.

• Coordinating and documenting appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge.

• Maintaining patient records and ensuring their accuracy.

• Monitoring, recording, and updating patient vitals to note any significant health changes.

Qualifications:

• No candidates with an AZ home address on their drivers license will be considered - please include a copy in submission
• Minimum 24 months of current ICU experience - REQUIRED
• Certifications must be American Heart Association OR American Red Cross and active upon submission - MUST BE INCLUDED IN SUBMISSION - REQUIRED
• No Nursys Hits - REQUIRED
• Banner will not approve RTO within the first two weeks or holidays. Can not exceed 7 days.
• FLU vaccination - REQUIRED **Please add vaccination status in the submission notes**
• ***PLEASE NOTE, BANNER HAS VERY SPECIFIC BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS THAT MUST BE ADHERED AND ATTESTED TO. PLEASE LOOK AT THE COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS IMMEDIATELY***
• Travel experience - Preferred

Salary: $64.00 - $68.00 per hour

• 3x12
• Weekends as needed
