Role requires being on site in Framingham MA at least 3 days / week (Tues-Thurs preferably)
The Product Manager (contractor) role is responsible for supporting several products in client OMS (Order Management System) domain. In this role, you will help develop and manage the Customer and Order Life Cycle supporting the definition of the end to customer experience and product strategies, requirements gathering, feature scoping, product roll-out, reporting, optimization, and continuous innovation in an agile environment. As part of this, you will develop detailed product features/requirements and implementation plans as well as monitor performance to gage customer impact and technical performance. You will work with key business partners and development teams to bring new products and enhanced system functionality to life.
Work with business and technology stakeholders to define business processes and requirements reflecting opportunities for superior customer experience
Define and evangelize product visions; translate vision into roadmaps and detailed execution plans
Represent business and technical stakeholders in agile teams and sign off user/enabler stories as done based on business and technical requirements.
Maintain roadmaps including iterations; break down large scale initiatives into user stories
Elicit and analyze internal and external customer needs, opportunities, and gaps and translate into solutions/product features to deliver a world class furniture platform
Map processes, identify process improvements, and influence team and stakeholders
Document user requirements including launch and ongoing KPIs to monitor product health and ongoing business value
Manage schedules and tasks related to all aspects of product development, launch, and enhancements
Manage multiple tasks concurrently and work within tight deadlines to balance workload effectively

Sufficient technical depth and business acumen to identify risk of future issues
Innovative mindset to surface and advocate for alternate approaches and solutions to business and technology challenges
Effective communication with engineering teams to clarify requirements as well as with cross functional teams to understand and work through their dependencies
Demonstrates effective communication and ability to influence all levels of management and stakeholders
Creative problem solver ability to analyze complex data and user requests into simple design approved solutions
High energy, detail-oriented, and organized, with a strong ability to support multiple simultaneous initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Extensively outward facing, with strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and follow-up skills
Entrepreneurial mentality: willingness to roll up the sleeves and do whatever is necessary to meet team goals
4 - 6+ years in a Product leadership role - experience eliciting, analyzing, and documenting requirements, authoring user stories and acceptance criteria, building process flows, and creating other associated artifacts to inform software engineers and the development needs
Experience working in Retail, eCommerce, Order Management, third party and/or legacy software application integrations
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Working knowledge of databases and Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Word)
Experience collaborating with offshore and remote teams
Experience with large scale modernization efforts
