Endoscopy Data Analyst Summer Intern

Job description
Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time intern for the Endoscopy Department. In this role, the intern will work alongside a team of innovative professionals and contribute to Atlantic’s mission of delivering excellent healthcare services to our communities. The intern’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, including creating graphs, pivot tables, etc.
- Conduct statistical analysis and comparison of percentages related to healthcare metrics.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets to track room delays and reasons, as well as cancellations per physician within specified time frames.
- Collaborate with teams to gather and analyze data, providing actionable insights for process improvement.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to team members.
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private c ollege/university
- Be in good academic standing
- Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and conditional formatting.
