The Technical Solution Consultant will be working within the Honeywell Sensing & Safety Technologies business unit, specifically the Service Team focused on growing the business by selling complex services solutions for our customer base. The purpose of this position will be technical solution selling, optimizing customer entitlements through new and developed programs. The position will be located in Richardson, TX or Charlotte, NC.

As an SST Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for enabling and providing solutions for comprehensive safety standards and solutions. In this role, you will be expected to be a creative and resourceful self-starter and will demonstrate the ability to communicate technical and commercial concepts and solutions to Honeywell’s customers in the REGION to fulfill Honeywell’s growth mission.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide support in the strategy and development of comprehensive contract solutions with customers with Honeywell install base.
Assess and understand customer’s Safety vision and challenges and align them with Honeywell’s best practices and standards for safety.
Participate in New Product Initiatives (NPI) programs, reviewing and supporting the NPI process.
Support driving and executing Honeywell SST's Growth Strategies across customer segments of High-Tech Semiconductor, Industrial/Commercial Fixed Gas and Portables Markets
Ability to articulate Value to Customers for Safety solutions as part of the overall value proposition to end-customers.
Coach internal and external audiences on different Service and Technical Offerings. Utilize tools and workflow mapping to demonstrate the customer value over current state
Adapt and champion best-in-class sales training for current sales team; mentor team on Services sales motion
Provide Technical Demonstrations and Facilitate Customer Solution Design Workshops.
Support and guide Sales, proposal & estimating teams to develop scope of work for accurate and timely sales pursuit proposals.
Present technical / commercial business cases at multiple levels of the customer organization.
Interface with Offering & Marketing Teams on various campaigns, strategy, voice of customer sessions, to provide data for sales collaterals.
Demonstrated ability to continuously upgrade skills and knowledge on Honeywell’s and its competitor’s product offerings and solutions.
Ability to travel to customer locations across the assigned region based on Business Prioritization (~50% Travel).
Ability to present wall-to-wall project execution plans addressing all phases of the customer project, based on customer requirements,
Participate or support the front-end technical teams in data collection and on-site surveys for solution deployments.
Foster a strong cross vertical relationship, establish close collaboration with other consultants serving all the SST businesses.
YOU MUST HAVE
5+ Years of Relevant Experience in Gas Detection, Aligning Service Program to optimize customer support needs and proven track record of growth results
Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships
Proven track record of growth in technical selling in services
Demonstration of strong communication skills- written and verbal

Experience in Interfacing with Customers, Engineering Procurement Construction Contractors (EPC) Consulting Engineering Company, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Interface, System Integration Experience
Experience in a Management and Solution Consulting Organization
Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships
Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements and future mandates
Proficiency in developing and working in Global Environments
Self-starter capable of managing multiple customers and engagements
Technical writing Skills and preparation of proposals
Demonstrated ability to Architect Complex Solutions and Value Proposition for Large and Complex Deals
