Job description

Are you a skilled and dedicated General Mechanic seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact? Waverly Heights is currently seeking a full-time General Mechanic to j oin our team. Our General Mechanics are critical to ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. Daily responsibilities include:

• performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of mechanical systems throughout the community
• conducting preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of our facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical
• responding promptly to work orders and requests from various departments to address mechanical issues and ensure resident satisfaction
• collaborating with the maintenance team to identify potential issues and implement solutions to enhance overall community safety and functionality.

Our full-time General Mechanics are scheduled for 40 hours per week and will include weekend on-call rotation. Previous experience as a general mechanic or similar role is required. Solid understanding of maintenance procedures, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other facilities-related equipment. Our ideal candidate will have exceptional customer services skills, a positive attitude, work well in a team environment, and have the ability and willingness to learn.
