Job description
Job Title:Outpatient Substance Abuse Therapist (Contract and Regular Employee Positions)
Reports To: Program Director
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This person will provide timely assessment and therapeutic services to clients of Heritage Therapeutic Services, including adolescent and adult populations. The therapist will coordinate and provide assistance with the crisis intervention and outreach services as identified by the individual needs of each client. The position requires the counselor to work varied hours including some evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
The position requires licensure or Candidate Under Supervision in the State of Oklahoma to provide substance abuse services (i.e. LADC or LADC Candidate). Must be able to solve practical problems and work effectively under minimal supervision. The position requires the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with various levels of internal and external individuals.
Job Title:Outpatient Mental Health Therapist – CONTRACT
Reports To: Program Director
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This person will provide timely assessment and therapeutic services to clients of Heritage Therapeutic Services, including children, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations. The therapist will coordinate and provide assistance with the development, crisis intervention and outreach services as identified by the individual needs of each client. The position requires the counselor to work varied hours including some evenings and weekends to meet the needs of the clients.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
The position requires licensure in the State of Oklahoma to provide therapeutic services (i.e. LPC, LMFT, LCSW or LADC). Preference will be given to candidates with experience working in an outpatient setting. Must be able to solve practical problems and work effectively under minimal supervision. The position requires the ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with various levels of internal and external individuals.
