• This can be a remote position but preferred locations are Bentonville, AR or Boston, MA areas

The Senior Commercial Analyst will be responsible for delivering 'best in class analysis for SharkNinja's products related to retail POS, investments, and market trends. This role plays a critical part in weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to assess the overall health of the business. The Senior Commercial Analyst will be responsible for customer meeting preparation and supporting sales in the overall business strategy by proactively identifying opportunities, analyzing promotions / pricing and potential market threats. As a key partner to sales, this role is also a critical player in assessing competitor opportunities and reporting market insights weekly with actions and recommendations. In addition, this role includes working with internal product teams in assessing assortment productivity and long-term strategy planning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide assortment and promotion planning recommendations through analytical research.
• Deliver Daily/Weekly/Monthly analytics reports showing health of business.
• Serve as voice of the channel for cross functional meetings and the go to person for in-depth sales performance.
• Manages promotional plans by measuring ROI and sales lifts.
• Work with large data sets to provide weekly analytics, share results, and sku level rankings.
• Analyze and evaluate pre and post promotion analyses for club channel.
• Work jointly with Sales VP and Account Managers to develop selling and pricing strategies to drive POS results.
• Provide visibility to key product launches and product tests.
• In-store visits to assess on shelf presence.
• Identify, measure, and quantify marketplace/ retailer trends, issues and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales VP and Account Managers to support retailer customer meetings.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience within category management, sales analysis or financial analysis
• Ability to present and calibrate on critical challenges to internal and external partners
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and detail oriented, ensuring deadlines are met
• Experience with Retailer Data systems (Retail Link, Madrid, etc.) preferred
• Experience pulling and analyzing syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, NPD, GFK, etc) preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel/ Office skills

• The salary range on this role is 82-121K annually depending on experience and qualifications.
