Job description

Accountant:
Responsible for the management and reporting of financial data and organizing of information being sourced from several different reporting systems. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists with daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting duties.

• Assists with accounting for fixed assets and tracking of project costs.

• Reconcile various general ledger accounts.

• Responsible for the monthly bank reconciliation.

• Review and prepare consolidated financial statements.

• Coordinate month-end close. year-end close, annual audit and tax return preparation.

• Analyze accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness.

• Prepare financial and operational reports and analysis as needed.

• Responsible for production costs accounting and control.

• Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.

• Oversees cashflow management.

• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets.

• Perform audits ensuring adherence to standard requirements.

• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency.

• Report analysis and findings to management team.

 

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field with two years applicable work

experience (May consider work experience in lieu of educational requirements)

• Excellent computer skills including typing and data entry, necessary to perform the

duties required for this job.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel

• Experience with accounting software

• High attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize and multi-task with efficiency.

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Work in a fast-paced office environment with frequent interupptions.
