WHAT ARE THE HOURS?

This full-time aide position works regular business hours, with occasional requirements to work beyond normal hours as dictated by operational needs and event schedules. Travel throughout the five boroughs of NYC is necessary.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?

As a Bilingual Aide, your day is packed with purpose. You're out in the field conducting home visits, bridging the gap by interpreting education programs and activities, all while boosting engagement along the way. Translating essential school-wide and district-wide materials is your forte, ensuring accessibility for non-English speaking parents. You're not just in the background; you're actively involved in staff development and professional learning communities. IS THIS THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU?

• High school diploma
• 2+ years of paid or volunteer experience working with students experiencing language deficiencies and remedial instruction needs
• Education equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade
• Coursework or training in child development, instructional technology, or bilingual/bicultural instructional processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, and other related software
• Experience working with students with special needs (preferred)
