Responsibilities: • Ensure all phases of the loan process are performed in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines • Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business • Communicate a thorough understanding of different loan programs and closing costs to help prospective buyers make a decision • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of all required documents from borrowers, loan officers, title companies and other related industry professionals Key Responsibilities: • Manage warm transfers and fresh leads, averaging 8 to 10 daily, to effectively drive business growth. • Handle the application process, pitch to qualified borrowers, and guide them through loan options. • After loan sales, focus shifts to selling to the next borrower as processing staff takes over file management. • Provide counseling to borrowers, educating them on the advantages and disadvantages of different loan products to guide their choices. • Oversee customer interactions and ensure smooth transactions by liaising with realtors, processors, and underwriters. • Maintain a substantial pipeline of loans to meet production requirements effectively. • Collaborate closely with industry professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information, ensuring compliance with underwriting standards. Qualifications: • Maintain current registration with the National Mortgage Licensing System Registry • Familiarity with multiple types of loans such as conventional, fixed/ adjustable, FHA, VA, USDA, bridge, non-conforming, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit • Requires compliance with lending regulations and bank underwriting guidelines and lending policies • Exceptional decision-making ability, superior written and verbal communication skills, and superb interpersonal and customer service skills required • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, superb interpersonal and customer service skills, and exceptional decision-making ability • Strong understanding of HELOC/HELOAN guidelines and structuring • Current NMLS license About Company: Why Choose Summit Lending?
