Position Summary

A trusted Consumer Insights advisor and business partner who will leverage his/her Consumer experience and commercial awareness to proactively contribute to Sanofi’s vision to help consumers live healthier, fuller lives. You will help drive consumer-centricity and brand strategy related to brand foundations, communications, innovation, and brand health. You will be responsible for crafting and driving primary research in conjunction with external partners, synthesizing and reporting key research findings, and making recommendations to support business strategies and decision making that drive brand growth.

Main Responsibilities

As a North America consumer insights lead, working for Sanofi Consumer Healthcare, you will be an integral member of a cross-functional agile team in support of three of our brands: Dulcolax (digestive wellness), Icy Hot (Pain) and Aspercreme (Pain).  You will be responsible for representing the voice of the consumer in our N.A. strategy to build loved brands. You will actively drive and challenge the business, guided by an 'insights to action' mindset.

Drive Consumer-Centric Focus

Advocate a consumer-centric approach across teams, fostering partnerships with internal stakeholders and departments. Lead with insight driven decision making, ensuring people (consumers, shoppers and healthcare professionals) are at the heart of everything we do.

Strategic Research Collaboration

Key advisor and business partner to brand marketing teams. Collaborate with marketing & innovation, R&D, analytics, digital and sales to create and lead focused learning plans, aligning with business goals and budget for better efficiency. 

Digital Insights Leadership

Lead digital-first audiences and content insights that feed our personalized communication and online go to market models. Ensure that consumer insights, especially from social, are integrated throughout the consumer experience, from creative development to innovation initiatives. Champion the integration of consumer insights into the digital transformation journey.  

Drive Impactful Innovation

Drive growth across our brands by identifying innovation and whitespace opportunities rooted in emerging consumer trends, behaviors and unmet needs. Embed design thinking across the cross functional team to develop ideas leveraging iteration and agility.

Help Deliver the Growth Ambition Across our Brands

Monitor brand health, synthesize data for actionable insights, and foster competitive growth strategies. Maintain deep industry, category and competitive understanding, leveraging trends for brand innovation and strategic decision making.

Efficient Research Management

Work with cross functional teams to define and articulate the appropriate business question to determine the most suitable methodology for addressing it. Manage cost-effective, high-quality custom research, connecting the dots across multiple sources of data and information to generate insights and make meaningful recommendations that drive competitive advantage and growth. Adapt test & learn mindset and agile methodologies for rapid assessments. 

Local Advocacy for Global & Local Brands

Advocate consumer insights for North America, supporting cross-functional global and local teams. Coordinate learning plans with global counterparts for globally led brands.
