Monroe County Children and Youth Services is seeking a compassionate and motivated candidate to share your knowledge and expertise as a County Casework Supervisor. Join our dedicated team of child welfare professionals and support children and families in need.
As a County Casework Supervisor, you will provide oversight and guidance to the following positions:
Caseworkers that handle quality assurance (QA) compliance and may also be assigned intake or on-going cases at times of heavy referrals.
Full-time case aides
Part-time caseworkers entirely dedicated to QA matters.
This profession also involves supervising, reviewing, and evaluating the above positions surrounding their job performances in QA areas which include monthly placement and in-home services file reviews, tracking provider outcomes and performance, research and data collection, updating CYS templates, contract development, and Random Moment Time Study (RMTS) reviews.
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
