Job Summary

For those interested in Mechanical Assembler role, then this is the perfect job for you. You will perform various operations including but not limited to; disassembly, inspection and reassembly of rotating equipment including gas turbines units, and centrifugal compressors from multiple OEM's. This position may be required to flex between first and second shift as needed.

Job Description

• Setting up, monitoring and operating Tape line/s and other pieces of equipment under direct supervision associated with the manufacturing facility requirements.
• Performing Tape Head operation, cleaning, and general setup, which includes loading and unloading products and devices in Work Center.
• Following safety guidelines and quality standards in accordance with Job Safety Analysis (JSA), production schedule, setup instructions, and quality specs.
• Performing quality assurance activities required by manufacturing/engineering specifications, quality assurance, and ISO requirements.
• Training and assisting other employees as necessary.
• Following verbal and written instructions, maintaining accurate records, and performing other duties as required.

Skills Required

• Have 1-year minimum previous manufacturing or shop experience.
• Be able to read and interpret routine instructions.
• Be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Have good mechanical aptitude, use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Have good communication skills, safety oriented and a team player.
• Be flexible and possess the ability to follow work center guidelines.
• Attention to detail
• Proactive, and adaptability
• Willingness to learn

Education/Training/Certifications

• Have a High School Diploma or GED

Additional Requirements

• Special Equipment Required - Steel Toed/Safety Toed Boots

• Shift Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday 5:00pm – 5:00am or 5:00am – 5:00pm. OT on weekends contingent on business needs - voluntary

Pay Rate/Salary

• $21.00/hr
