Job description
Private family in Miami Beach is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Private Educator to facilitate the academic development of their two children, currently in 6th and 7th grade. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience, and a master's degree. Familiarity with the British School System is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development:
- Create engaging and customized daily, weekly, and monthly curricula tailored to the educational needs and interests of the children.
- Implement innovative teaching methods to foster critical thinking and a love for learning.
Teaching and Instruction:
- Provide high-quality instruction in various subjects, ensuring a well-rounded education.
- Foster a positive and stimulating learning environment that encourages intellectual curiosity.
Social Cohorts:
- Curate social cohorts for the children to promote a healthy social balance.
- Organize group activities and projects to enhance teamwork and interpersonal skills.
British School System Knowledge:
- Leverage knowledge of the British School System to incorporate relevant educational practices into the curriculum.
Travel and Educational Experiences:
- Plan and execute educational trips and experiences to enrich the children's learning beyond traditional classroom settings.
- Incorporate real-world experiences to make learning more practical and exciting.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience.
- Master's degree in Education or a related field.
- Familiarity or experience with the British School System.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Creative and innovative approach to education.
