The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Gastroenterologist for a full-time Assistant Professor position based in our Fox Valley Region of Appleton and Green Bay, Wisconsin. The Fox Valley is one of the largest, fastest growing urban centers in Wisconsin and is conveniently located between Milwaukee where our main campus is located and Green Bay, with easy access to both cities.
Opportunity Highlights
The role is employed by the Medical College of Wisconsin and provides care at Childrens Wisconsin locations in Northeast Wisconsin. Both organizations are based in the Milwaukee area. The Medical College of Wisconsin pediatric specialty providers who work at the nationally ranked Childrens Wisconsin are members of Childrens Specialty Group, a strong group practice of more than 680 elite pediatric specialty physicians, advanced practice nurses and physician assistants.
This position is located in Northeast Wisconsin as part of an innovative collaboration between Childrens Wisconsin, Bellin Health and ThedaCare . These top-quality health care organizations are partnering to improve the health and well-being of children and adolescents in Northeast and Central Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, through joint venture called Connected for Kids . This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with primary and specialty care providers at these organizations to improve patient outcomes. The connection between the organizations helps position our physicians to successfully support the needs of patients and their families.
Pediatric Gastroenterology
Our pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition program is ranked in the top 20 of US News and World Report and is recognized as one of the top pediatric gastroenterology programs in the country for our clinical and research excellence. The Fox Valley satellite functions within the support system of our main campus program which is comprised of 20 faculty members, 7 APNPs and 6 instructor fellows who partner with a team of specialized nurse clinicians, dietitians, social workers, pediatric psychologists and research staff.
