Job Title O365 Systems Engineer

Location Wilmington, Delaware (Hybrid, need local only)

Job Description :

• We are seeking an O365 Systems Engineer (Teams/SharePoint/Azure) for a contract to hire role with a client in Wilmington, DE.

• Since this is a hybrid role, we are seeking local candidates that can work in Wilmington, DE or Wayne, PA. Note: this is not a DevOps role.

• We are seeking a candidate with experience supporting Microsoft Azure and Office365 resources, working with Microsoft licensing models, managing access, recovery, and resource sharing. In addition to serving as a SME, you will be part of a team and will cross-train other team members to learn skills of additional support at a triage level.

Responsibilities for the O365 System Engineer (Teams/SharePoint/Azure) include:

Serving as a primary escalation point for basic to complex problems, identifying and resolving root-causes.

Resolve assigned tier 2 and 3 system issues within SLAs.

Respond to client support calls, emails, and tickets.

Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, processes, and controls.

Work with vendors, peers and business users in the implementation, operations and troubleshooting of systems.

Identify ways to improve reliability of systems.

Support team in resolving system functionality issues, anomalies, and outages.

Write and maintain custom scripts and process to increase automation, system efficiency and lower downtime.

Creation of app registrations, enterprise applications and certificate renewals.

Handling diagnostics for Azure AD sync and attributes.

Permissioning of Graph API.

Mailbox management including retention, litigation, and delegation.

Required skills and experience:

10+ years of IT experience.

2+ years of experience directly responsible for Teams and SharePoint Access, least privileged role assignments and recovery management.

Engineering experience with Azure, Windows and Office365.

Experience with Azure Active Directory, O365 Exchange, and Active Directory.

Experience with backup solutions, Cisco UCS Architecture, SQL Server, and Storage solutions.

Experience with virtualization and VDI.

Experience resolving Tier 2 and 3 system issues.
