Job description
As a financial analyst in the Financial Planning & Analysis department, you will be involved in forecasting financial data as well as reporting on actual costs vs. budgeted costs. There are six forecasts throughout the year - five are for the current year only and one is for the current year + five years. The financial analyst will provide guidance and templates for inputs and consolidate those inputs from different areas of the business. You will work with program managers, financial managers & accounting personnel for inputs. We have a forecasting system used by the company and retrieving data from this system is how most of our data is obtained.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelors degree in finance is preferred. Other degrees considered depending on the business experience. At least 4 years of experience is required or equivalent experience.
Required skills - communication and being analytical. Communication is essential since you will be communicating to all levels of the organization. Analytical ability is necessary because you need to check data for reasonableness and validate data that is not always developed by you.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Familiarity with Oracle and Hyperion Planning is preferred.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $71600 - $121700
