Job description
Lakeside HR Group is recruiting a Tax Manager for a Twin Cities Certified Public Accounting (CPA) firm. It isn't a typical Firm or accounting job. The wizard (a.k.a. Tax Manager) will do more than review tax returns (individuals, partnerships, S-corporations, and corporations) and conduct tax planning. They will jump on the Partner track, engage with clients, and manage staff development. The position gains immediate 401k contributions, enjoys the freedom of summer hours, and is an integral member of a fun, innovative, and collaborative culture.
Key Qualifications:
Possess a minimum of five years of experience in tax-related roles within the public accounting sector, which includes a cross section of experience between businesses and high-net-worth individuals.
Exhibit excellent client service and communication skills.
Demonstrate exceptional analytical abilities and possess strong technical knowledge in tax accounting and related technologies.
Hold a valid CPA license.
Proficiency in computer skills is highly desirable, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite being essential. Familiarity with CCH Axcess Tax, Document, QuickBooks, and Engagement is strongly preferred.
