Position Description
Title: HRIS Analyst Sr.
Department: Payroll & HR Systems
Immediate Supervisor: Director, Payroll & HR Systems
Status: Exempt Salaried
Position Purpose
The HRIS Analyst Sr. maintains the system that supports Human Resources and Payroll, implementing (process) improvements, ensuring data quality, and analyzing and reporting on the data in the HRIS.
Principle Accountabilities
- Administer and maintain the HRIS system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee information.
- Configure and customize modules to align with the organization's HR processes and policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system functionality.
- Manage and oversee the input and maintenance of employee data, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct regular audits to identify and correct data discrepancies.
- Develop and enforce data integrity standards and procedures.
- Lead the implementation of new HRIS solutions.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and other stakeholders to gather requirements for system configuration.
- Develop and execute implementation plans, ensuring timely and successful deployment.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within HRIS functions.
- Work closely with HR teams to streamline workflows and enhance system efficiency.
- Recommend and implement best practices for HRIS usage.
- Monitor data integrity within the HRIS system, conducting regular audits and corrections as needed.
- Work to establish and enforce data governance standards to maintain the accuracy of employee records.
- Provide training to HR staff and end-users on the proper use of the HRIS system.
- Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance to users, addressing inquiries and issues promptly.
- Generate and analyze HRIS reports to extract meaningful insights for decision-making.
- Develop and maintain standard and ad-hoc reports to meet the reporting needs of various stakeholders.
- Ensure that HRIS practices and data management comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Stay informed about updates and changes to software and implement necessary adjustments.
- Related tasks as requested by supervisor.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in HRIS
- Strong understanding of HR processes and data management.
- Strong process documentation skills and fit-gap analysis.
- Experience in HRIS implementation and project management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
