Job Title: Software Developer Assistant Manager

GLOVIS EV Logistics America LLC is an integrated logistics company located in Savannah, Georgia. We provide Tier 1 logistic, warehousing and inventory services to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA). GLOVIS EV Logistics America was established on October 6, 2022.

Job Summary: The Software Developer Assistant Manager will be responsible for designing and coding software, and producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements, testing and deploying programs and applications. The Software Developer collaborates with proper authority to create software programs for computers, mobile devices, and websites, and develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects.

Reports to: Head of Department

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages critical issues and resolutions related to existing Application Systems.
• Develops and proposes resolutions or alternative solutions for better information services.
• Standardizes service level agreements and maintenance and support contracts.
• Directs and designs system architecture.
• Evaluates/proposes Hardware, Software, solutions.
• Keeps up with new technology/trend and adopts them to IT system.
• Acts as a liaison with customer and partners' IT Departments.
• Develops and implements applications by using programming language (C#, Java, SQL, etc)
• Implements new and makes modifications of IT program/Software.
• Conducts requirements analysis and performs Application System Design and Development, including databases.
• Conducts the implementation and testing of Enterprise Applications.
• Research for the enhancement or improvement of IT systems.
• Monitors system failure and performance and properly resolves them in a timely manner.
• Strongly involved in the planning and engineering of systems infrastructure.
• Plans and leads new project- applications.
• Identifies user requirements clearly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree in Information Technology area or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years more experience web development and IT infrastructure.
• Develop and implement applications by using programming language(C#, Java, SQL, etc.) experience with Oracle, Java, JDK, Java related framework(Springboot, HTML, CSS, SVN, Node JS, etc.) experience with open source software(Linux, AWS.Python. etc.) Database(Maria, Tibero, Oracle) Programming experience(PL/SQL).
• Must be able to move around the office as well as walk to and from shops located throughout the plant. Must posess critical listening skills to discern end user issues.
• Must be able to communicate well in both written and oral form
• Occasionally required to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs) such as servers and other network related equipment.
• Must be able to walk for long periods from building to building to replace or install desktop and network hardware to support customers.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including a laptop computer and cell phone. The employee is generally required to spend long periods of time sitting, typing, and working at a computer. May require the ability to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds and transport items. The estimated base salary range for this job is $81,000-$85,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.

Salary Range $55,700 - $61,600
