Apple’s Sales organization generates the distribution, partner marketing and revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services. We collaborate with our partners to define opportunities and develop growth plans resulting in delivering a great customer experience and expanded adoption of the Apple ecosystem.
The US Consumer Sales team is seeking an experienced sales professional with a passion for technology and innovation to lead efforts to grow Apple Hardware and Services with our US Consumer Resellers. The team is focused on rapidly growing the business with our partners and engages directly with Apple’s largest resellers and carriers to build deeper partnerships, accelerate sell-thru, and ensure Apple customers have access to the essential branded accessories they need to unlock the value of hero devices.
Key Qualifications
- Performance-proven sales background including 8+ years of sales and/or account management experience
- Minimum of 8 years Reseller Sales Management experience
- Extensive experience in consultative selling and developing channel growth strategies with partners
- Deep experience and understanding of search, digital marketing and e-commerce
- Experience in retail sales preferred, especially as a merchant. Strong understanding of merchandising strategies and assortment planning
- A collaborative and inclusive engagement style that delivers superior outcomes regardless of perceived boundaries
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills including proficiency with Keynote
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
- Proven analytical skills; proficient in Excel
Description
- In conjunction with the Worldwide, regional teams and other cross-functional areas, develop strategic plans and tactical activities that will result in growing Apple business.
- Responsible for selling Apple-branded products into US resellers from pitch to close including defining and innovating on individual account strategy; providing assortment, placement, and consumer offer recommendations; negotiating commercial terms; and navigating cross-functional teams to build the scale and key capabilities of channel partners.
- This role will partner with demand planning, merchandising, operations, finance, legal, and the marketing organization within Apple and partner organizations to define a comprehensive strategy, design unique offers and incentive programs, develop essential channel assets, manage supply availability, and ensure the successful launch of new products.
- Build deep relationships, negotiate programs, and develop capabilities to achieve a great physical and digital end-customer experience with results that benefit Apple and our partners
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of market trends and competitive landscape across the channel and develop comprehensive account plans that align with our partners’ strategy and expand Apple's footprint
- Work with internal and external partners to develop new and exciting growth opportunities, develop and implement demand generation strategies, and drive relevant market activities
- Monitor key performance indicators that support growth and enable forecasts on the overall health
- Oversee the drafting of legal agreements and negotiate commercial terms
- Design, recommend, and negotiate assortments of key SKUs; articulate compelling placement and merchandising strategies
- Coordinate with reseller operations and supply-demand management to ensure timely supply for launch
- Prepare presentations and analysis to support sales initiatives
- Track progress and provide regular reports to management on sales strategy and growth targets

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $126,700.00 and $190,600.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
