Job description

The Carrier Solutions Rep plays a critical role in executing business for the company and its clients, partnering with TMS and SDX teams to ensure the customers’ needs are being met. Using technological solutions to source, campaign and ensure viable core carriers are implemented, nurtured and onboarded in a satisfactory manner to meet our shippers’ needs. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity to move up in your career quickly with this fast-growing company that promotes from within. This position is a stepping stone into a Carrier Solutions Management & Client Health Management position, and future opportunities to be promoted into other leadership roles.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Contacts prospective carriers
• Creates and inputs profile data into company repository
• Works in a team setting to cater to specific customer transportation needs
• Calls, profiles, and develops relationships with new carriers
• Builds and inputs carrier data candidates for specific freight opportunities
• Follows up with current carrier partners for relationship growth and maintenance
• Collaborates with other DLX departments to ensure customer success
• Assists team in strategic management of carrier solutions

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Focused, motivated, and organized work ethic
• Strong-wiled and comfortable with communicating over the phone
• Solid knowledge of technology
• Eager to learn and grow skills as needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • This position will work in Excel on a daily basis
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred but not required

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience in a similar field preferred but not required
