In today's environment, external talent engagement is not just limited to only hiring, but also requires a proactive strategy to engage with the talent ecosystems at large such as collages, professional interest groups and volunteer communities, among others.

At Walmart Global Tech, we are always looking to deepen our engagement and partnerships with the external talent ecosystems to build and nurture a vibrant community of professionals who share our belief that tech can meaningfully shape the future of retail, and love taking on hard problems that have a planet-scale impact!

As part of this continuing focus, we are excited to embark on a new initiative that will help us engage with the diverse talent ecosystems at a more strategic level, and help create more meaningful opportunities for the up and coming talent.

As the program manager for diverse talent ecosystem engagement initiatives, you will build, own and nurture our strategy to engage with some of the largest tech communities and colleges so that we can excite and inspire top talent to consider Walmart as their top career destination. But even more importantly, you will undertake initiatives that will help increase top of the funnel opportunities for the up-and-coming talent, including the early career professionals, so they are better prepared to compete in the coming time. We believe that by investing in the ecosystem and the communities, we all become better! 

As an individual contributor, you will engage with external talent ecosystems, identify opportunities that align with Walmart Global Tech priorities, map them into internal initiatives, identify and align key stakeholders and exec sponsors, facilitate and orchestrate the follow-up action items that lead to successful culmination of these programs, measure and track the progress of these initiatives, organize periodic reporting and reviews on the health of these program with key stakeholders, and deliver successful outcomes with demonstrable ROI.

This position is Bentonville-based where you will have opportunities to interact with various stakeholder groups and leaders, including from Global Tech, People team, Talent Acquisition, and other business groups from across Walmart.
