As an Assembly Team Leader at Biofire, you will be playing a pivotal role in the manufacturing process, overseeing the assembly and production line of advanced smart gun systems. We are looking for someone who has a blend of technical proficiency, leadership acumen, and a commitment to precision to contribute to the assembly of cutting-edge firearm technology and help Biofire build our world-class manufacturing organization.
To succeed you will need to be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of assembly processes, particularly in electronics and firearm assembly. Day-to-day responsibilities of the role will include:
Assembly: Use assembly tools and follow work instructions to produce complex quality firearms;
Training: Conduct training for assembly line workers, keeping them updated on the latest Smart Gun technologies and assembly techniques;
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, component specifications, and quality control measures. Contribute to the development and improvement of assembly protocols;
Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with relevant regulations and compliance standards related to firearm manufacturing. Ensure that the assembly process adheres to local, national, and international regulations and safety guidelines;
Communicate: Establish effective communication channels to production and engineering while also communicating daily expectations to the production line.

Hands-on experience in assembly line operations within a manufacturing environment, Proven track record in a team lead or supervisory role, demonstrating the ability to lead by example and motivate the team to achieve their goals;
In-depth knowledge of assembly processes, tools and techniques, especially in the context of the specific industry (e.g., firearms, electronics, mechanics);
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments;
Ability to read and follow work instructions;
The ability to move frequently and stand for long periods. You need to be able to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. You must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

The compensation range for this role is $25.00 - $30.00/hour + stock options + benefits.
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
This is a full-time, hourly role that will require you to be on-site. Our dog-friendly, state-of-the-art headquarters is located in beautiful Broomfield, Colorado, between Boulder and Denver.
This position will require overtime work to meet project deadlines. The ability to work beyond regular hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
