Summary

Liberty Personnel is working with an industry leading client expanding its Tax team. In the role you’ll be involved with sales tax return preparation, utilize Vertex software, provide tax audit support, and be involved in tax projects.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of sales/use tax returns and other tax filings.
• Remittance of sales/use tax payments.
• Review simpler sales tax returns prepared by staff.
• Utilize Vertex O series software.
• Develop process improvements for reporting and software use
• Advise staff on best practices.
• Assist with sales tax audits.
• Reconciliation of tax accounts.
• Perform tax research.
• Participate in special projects.
