We are looking for an experienced and innovative lead psychiatrist who is passionate about patient care and clinical excellence.
As a key member of our quickly growing DMV team, you will deliver care to our patients while inspiring and leading clinical quality across the DMV market. This includes assessing and upgrading existing medical care standards and providing leadership and coaching to clinicians. You will report to the Chief Medical Officer and partner closely with the market leadership team to develop and implement strategies across the DMV region.
How You Will Have an Impact:
- Provide direct patient care in our generalist, outpatient care model; this role will start with 80% patient-facing expectations (hybrid in-person + telehealth).
- Support our growing team of prescribing clinicians through individual and group supervision, creating opportunities for personal growth and professional development.
- Provide support to our therapy team through case supervision.
- Developing the clinical team; hiring, retaining, and coaching the best Clinicians.
- Reviewing existing medical care standards, protocols, practices, and policies; developing benchmarks to ensure that patients are receiving high quality care.
- Implementing Quality Assurance programs, including chart and performance reviews for clinicians.
- Creating a positive culture that improves patient and clinician satisfaction.
- Developing educational, communication and advocacy programs and forums for clinicians regarding quality, patient safety, leadership development and clinical integration.
We Seek a Lead Psychiatrist That: - Is a Licensed Physician, with license in good standing; licensure in either DC, Virginia, or Maryland required, and cross-licensure across two or three of these states is a big plus.
- Holds a valid DEA License in the state of licensure (or able to apply and obtain without encumbrance).
- Is Board-certified or board-eligible (with plans to sit for board certification within 5 years of residency graduation date) in General Psychiatry.
- Has 1+ years of experience providing direct patient care as an attending psychiatrist.
- Has experience and knowledge of psychiatric and psychological care at different levels including knowledge of current medical, educational and psychosocial intervention models.
- Understands evidenced-based clinical treatment methods.
- Has a high degree of integrity and a positive attitude, with demonstrated leadership ability.
- Comfortable with patient facing responsibilities of around 80%.
- Ability to travel to all locations in the DMV region.

Salary range: $220,000-$270,000
