Job Description:
The Customer Supply Lead is the primary operational liaison between the Customer and the Mars Petcare internal supply function. Through a deep understanding of inventory, transportation and Supply Chain practices, this role will be responsible for developing collaborative supply solutions to ensure delivery of key KPIs.
The CS Lead role has 1 - 2 direct reports (CSRs) and is accountable for the operational excellence of their customer’s Order-To-Cash process.
Stakeholder management is key, as this role is highly interactive with Sales, Planning and Transportation.
Leads customer Order-To-Cash process with a focus on cost-to-serve, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Partner with Customer Supply Collaboration Managers and other cross-functional team members to support development of strategic end to end supply chain solutions for the customer. Support implementation where applicable.
Drive cost savings initiatives (payload, case pick , etc ) to reduce cost to serve and deliver LCC savings commitments for their customer.
Ability to adjust, adapt, respond to, and be resourceful in the face of change to deliver business objectives . Leads supply chain joint business planning practices with retailer by managing weekly/monthly business reviews.
As assigned, manage C ustomer Supply Representative (CSR) direct reports as a Great Line Manager (GLM), by coaching and develop ing objectives , and implement ing strategies to achieve Customer Service and Mars Petcare Goals and Objectives. A lso a ccountable for issues requiring escalation from their direct reports.
Other duties as assigned, including taking on advanced leadership opportunities when Customer Supply Manager or other Supply Chain leaders are not available.
Ability to travel up to 10% as required .
