Job Title: Software Engineer Developer/Tester
Location: Englewood, CO
Position Type: Contract
Duration: 6 / 12 Month

Job Description:
In this role you will contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications architectures and participate in evaluation of test performance data.
Provides data, recommendations, and estimates for software component level project planning including corrective action plans. Develops, selects, tailors, and deploys contemporary processes and frameworks ensuring continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
Performs special test procedures as required to support failure investigation.
Develops test procedures, and configuration definition, needed to perform the test and minimize risk within the constraints of the test plan. Supports operational and integration issue resolution.
Helps resolve programmatic, technical and operational problems that would impact cost, schedule and/or performance and performs root cause analysis on software issues.
Provide expertise on software methodologies and processes to internal/external customers.
Supports implementation of best practices within the software development processes.
Reviews test data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer.
Takes appropriate action based upon test data results.
Prepares test and configuration documentation.
Coordinates the staging of test hardware.
Participates in test readiness reviews, safety reviews, test plan reviews and test case reviews. Configures software for data acquisition and analysis.
Prepares daily execution plans for effective use of all test resources.
Prepares test reports.
Provides input to lessons learned and performance metrics to improve future testing.
Archives data and reports as required.

PROJECT/SKILLS
Describe the project they will be working on: Contractor will be supporting one of the NOTAMs Application Teams.
Size of the Team: ~7 current members, globally dispersed.
Does the statement of work have any limitations on physical attributes? (Heavy lifting, long hours on feet, confined spaces, harnesses that have certain weight limits, etc.) No.
Type of background you are looking for (education, # yrs experience, etc.): Software Test & Development, 5+ years experience.
Software skills required: Python, SQL, PostGres, Linux, XML, C/C++, Automated testing, Manual testing
Any certifications required: None required, but Azure Cloud Certifications would be a plus.
