Off Hours is a Spirits Company selling bourbon that is authentically crafted for today’s modern drinker. Crafted with aromas of creamy vanilla, hints of nutmeg and a silky finish of lingering honey, Off Hours bourbon is meant to engage our senses and change perceptions. This is bourbon for creating memories, for celebrating each other, and for building real-life connections. It’s not about preconceived notions of artisanal cocktails and dimly lit bars. It’s for everyone, everywhere. Founded by Jake Ireland and launched in 2020, Off Hours is aged in American white oak barrels for over five years at MGP Distillery in Lawrenceburg, IN.

We are looking for a regional Market Manager to oversee one of our core markets, Southern California. This individual will be instrumental in accelerating Off Hours’ business and brand goals by leading the sales, business development, training and activation of brand advocacy within existing and new on and off premise accounts. He or she will establish effective and trusted business partnerships with key customers as well as a variety of internal stakeholders, including the leadership team, marketing and key external partners, distributors and key accounts in order to influence distribution, brand awareness, point of purchase, and brand recognition to drive consistent and exceptional presence and sales of our brand. The position is multifaceted and calls for attentiveness with the ability to identify and act on opportunities to increase brand presence and awareness while meeting sales goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

Requirements:

College degree

3+ years of sales experience

Professional team based or collaboration experience

Track record of results

Strong selling and communication Skills, oral and written

Ability to analyze reporting, identify business trends and react quickly to the needs of the business

Availability and flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends as needed to support the business

Strongly Preferred Requirements:

Alcoholic beverage experience

Distributor management experience

Marketing and sales experience in CPG or high image categories

Channel management experience

Budget management experience

Create and maintain lasting connections through existing and new account contacts

Seamlessly integrate with the team and support our omnichannel business

Consistently meet sales and profitability targets

Educate others on Off Hours mission and product

Be driven to identify business opportunities and implement solutions

Responsibilities:

Sales

Lead sales efforts across all channels in the Southern California market: on and off premise

Increase sales growth in market

Increase number accounts sold

Improve velocity of current distribution points

Manage and lead distributor team

Implement brand programs and incentives

Managing sales budget

Cultivating and evaluating brand analytics

Trade Specialist

Trend spotting & innovation

Explore and identify new types of On/Off trade opportunities, convert buyers and bars/bartenders who are not yet promoters of Off Hours brand

Build Strong Relationships

Cultivate relationships with key trade leaders, influential accounts, bars and bartenders to increase opportunities for the sales teams

Work closely with Brand and Leadership Teams, Marketing and Distributor Sales to formulate and implement Brand plans and programs

Brand Education & Training

Work with brand team and distributor sales to identify training requirements

Develop scalable training programs and engage key accounts for Off Hours

Brand Advocacy

In-account activation execution and planning

Consumer education and interfacing

Serve as brand spokesperson at key Brand and Cocktail events

Social media input

General

Ensure execution and compliance with all company policies & procedures.
