About the Role:

The Mission for this Position:

As an Assistant Controller, you will use your knowledge and experience to perform accounting and clerical duties. The ideal candidate possesses a high aptitude for organization, is efficient with their time, exudes effortless accounting skills, understands QuickBooks desktop, and is personable, articulate, hardworking, and willing to lend a hand to anyone in any department.

Candidate must show passion for work, have exceptional computer acumen, and have strong verbal and written communication skills. An aviation background is a plus but not required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Controller in managing the financial operations of the company
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 2+ years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Experience with QuickBooks (preferred, not required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), Google Suite & Adobe

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Compensation:

• $50,000-$60,000 annually
