Hours/Pay Rate : Monday – Friday (8:30am to 5pm): $19/hour
Summary : The Product Customer Service is a firearm expert responsible for providing product knowledge support to internal and external customers via the telephone, email, and chat software. This is an on-site position in our Fort Worth, Texas Call Center. This is not a hands-on position working directly with firearms. The Product Technician is also responsible for verifying that products carried by Cheaper Than Dirt! have properly formatted web content, image, data, and are categorized correctly. Additional tasks can and will be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities: - Work an eight-hour schedule five days per week and adhere to assigned start/end times, break, and lunch schedules in accordance with department attendance policies.
- Be available to accurately answer questions from internal and external customers via telephone, email and chat software during scheduled work hours.
- Accurately identify products from distributor and manufacturer information in a timely manner.
- Research product features and specifications using the Internet, Intranet and print sources.
- Write descriptions in accordance with documented quality and SEO standards with content that is informative, insightful, and intriguing, with correctly formatted images for web use.
- Adhere to documented department quality standards for customer interactions both verbally and written.
- Identify customer needs and make proper recommendations and offer insight in a positive and helpful manner across all communication lines.
Requirements :
- Extensive firearms experience including firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories.
- Good understanding of general outdoor equipment, hunting gear, and other accessories.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to type 25 wpm.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, MS IE, MS Outlook, HTML, and Adobe Photoshop.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma and relevant work experience.
- Work assigned full-time schedule including weekends and some holidays.
- Agree to submit and pass criminal background and drug test.
