Position Description

As we continue to expand our delivering capabilities, CGI Federal is seeking a Test Engineer to join a new contract team supporting our customer in Tyson's Corner, VA. This position requires an active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance and will be 100% on-site.

Your future duties and responsibilities
As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for and can expect to deliver the following:
• Developing and maintaining a comprehensive software test strategy in line with the organization’s objectives and industry best practices
• Design and implement detailed test plans based on software requirements and specifications
• Coordinate with development teams to understand project scope and requirements
• Perform manual and automated tests as per the test plan
• Utilize test tools like Selenium, JUnit, etc., to automate test cases
• Ensure software meets the required security standards through the use of static and dynamic code analysis tools like Fortify and SonarQube
• Lead the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, ensuring the software meets the user's expectations and requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders, both government and non-government, to gather feedback during UAT
• Identify any potential quality issues and work with the development team to address them
• Prepare detailed test reports, documenting the results of the test cases, identified defects, and any potential areas of improvement

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Active TS/SCI CI Polygraph
• Security+ CE Certified or DOD 8570 Level II equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years of experience with software testing utilizing common test frameworks and Agile methodologies
• 5-7 years of experience understanding various security systems, including but not limited to: ISSE Guards, ForcePoint Appliances, and Radiant Mercury
• Experience working independently and interacting regularly with government and non-government stakeholders.
• Experience with creating test plans, procedures, and test reports.
• Experience with operating an integrated network of VM's and cross domain systems.
• Experience with user acceptance testing, automated test tools, and dynamic code analysis & static code analysis and common tools such as Selenium, Fortify, and SonarQube
• Experience with Linux and capable of effectively working within a Linux environment

Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with automations frameworks such as Behavior-Driven Development
• Knowledge of 508 Compliance requirements and testing
• Knowledge of regression testing and experience in executing regression test suites
• SAFe certification.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $124,190 $181,800
