The ideal Account Manager/Sales Rep has proven success on a mostly commission based compensation plan, has experience managing large B2B accounts (transportation and automotive industry strongly preferred), is a customer service superstar, and can't imagine being in any other role than sales!
Responsibilities:
- Consulting with Dealers and Key accounts on the use of our transportation services
- Cultivating leads and explaining Wholesale Express services to potential clients
- Developing trusting and lasting relationships with new dealers/customers, and serving as a consultant to show the services and benefits of Wholesale Express
- Providing exceptional customer service to all customers/dealers and potential customers/dealers
- Becoming a subject matter expert that will analyze client business needs and propose the best solutions for your dealers/accounts
- Performing timely follow-up on all inquiries
- Staying up-to-date with changes in the industry, such as competition, trucking industry updates, wholesale industry updates, and selling techniques
- More duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 3+ years experience in a customer service role
- Minimum of 5+ years' experience in a B2B Sales Role managing large accounts
- Experience in the transportation and/or automotive industries strongly preferred
- Enjoys working with guests via phone and internet
- Driven to reach goals and to succeed on a performance-based pay-plan (mostly commission)
- Works well both in a team environment as well as independently
- Self Motivated and Driven!
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Desire to learn about and keep up to speed on the transportation and automotive industries and competitors
- Honest, Loyal, Organized, and Outgoing
- Proven ability to build trusting and lasting business relationships
- Phone skills
- Technology and internet savvy
