Job description

Cloud Nine Cannabis is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Cannabis Store Manager to lead our team and drive the success of our retail operations. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of store management, including staff supervision, inventory management, sales performance, compliance with regulations, and maintaining a positive customer experience.

Requirements

• Experience as a retail manager or in a managerial position
• Experience in a cannabis retail setting
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent organizing and leadership skills
• Commercial awareness
• Experience with computers, word documents and email
• Have a positive and friendly personality
• Selling it right certificate

Responsibilities

• Organizing all store operations and allocating responsibilities to personnel
• Provide leadership and guidance to retail staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and accountability
• Manage day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with all state and local regulations
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to ensure adequate stock of popular products while minimizing waste
• Drive sales growth through effective merchandising strategies, promotional events, and upselling techniques
• Training new employees
• Uphold high standards of customer service, addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in the store
• Returns, refunds and exchanges
• Must be able to work alone and with groups
• Implement and enforce security protocols to safeguard products, cash, and customer information
• Stay informed about industry trends, new products, and regulatory changes, and ensure staff compliance with all applicable laws and policies
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics, and develop strategies to optimize store performance
