Job description

Job Summary:

As a Physician specializing in Oncology, with a focus on Gynecologic Oncology, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with gynecologic cancers. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating various gynecologic malignancies, including ovarian, cervical, uterine, and vulvar cancers, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach to deliver personalized treatment plans. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, and allied health staff, to ensure coordinated and integrated care for patients. Additionally, you will participate in clinical research, education, and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of gynecologic oncology and improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  1. Board Certification in Gynecologic Oncology OR Board Eligibility with 0-5 Years Post-Residency Experience:

    • Board certification in Gynecologic Oncology or eligibility with 0-5 years of experience after completing residency training in obstetrics and gynecology.
  2. Active Washington State Medical License:

    • Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Washington.
  3. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification:

    • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from an American Heart Association (AHA) accredited provider.
  4. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration:

    • Active registration with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to prescribe and administer controlled substances.
  5. Clinical Expertise:

    • Demonstrated clinical expertise in the field of gynecologic oncology, with proficiency in diagnosing and managing gynecologic malignancies.
  6. Multidisciplinary Collaboration:

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nurses, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
  7. Compassionate Patient Care:

    • Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, with a focus on addressing the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients and their families.
