Position Overview:
We are seeking a Pricing/Sales Analyst for a Fortune 500 alcoholic beverage company. In this role you will work closely with internal stakeholders to make informed pricing decisions for a major account. Youll be responsible for managing accurate data for a large network of stores and distributors using internal tools such as Retail Link for pricing submissions ensuring precision in internal systems coordinating with sales directors and buyers facilitating seamless new product launches and conducting a thorough analysis of pricing data for impactful presentations.
Responsibilities:
- Use internal tools and the Retail Link cost change interface for precise pricing submissions.
- Ensure the accuracy of pricing information within the companys internal systems.
- Collaborate with sales directors and buyers to implement pricing actions effectively.
- Facilitate the smooth introduction of new items at stores ensuring a successful market launch.
- Compile and analyze pricing data for both internal and external presentations offering valuable insights.
Skills and Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree is a prerequisite for this role.
- Possess strong analytical skills to interpret and draw meaningful insights from pricing data.
- Proven experience with Retail Link for effective pricing management.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel including pivot tables VLOOKUPs and formula work.
- Ability to efficiently handle large data sets.
- Effective communication skills for seamless collaboration with business partners and buying teams.
- Detailoriented with the capability to manage and track multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proactive problemsolving skills able to determine the root cause of issues and take necessary actions for resolution.
- Experience with IRI or Nielsen is considered a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL is advantageous.
