Responsibilities
As a Transformation Program Lead under the Group Transformation portfolio, you will be accountable for delivering tangible business outcomes at Group level. This role requires strong leadership and drive across multiple operational and technology domains.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Leading the end to end definition and delivery of the transformation
- Ensuring timely establishment of program management activities eg. global roadmap, governance, investment cases and financial management, people change approach and plans, technical platform delivery plans
- Building a high performing global team
- Working collaboratively with a broad range of Group leaders
- Effectively managing vendor or partner relationships and respective successful delivery
- Manoeuvring the program through internal and external dependencies, risks and issues
- Representing the program at Board level and externally
Key skills, knowledge and experience :
- Proven ability to influence at CXO-level
- High level communication and negotiation skills
- Significant experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams (business and technical)
- Relevant transformation leadership experience in large global organizations
- Proven resilience and flexibility
- Experience or qualification in people change management
Desirable:
- Relevant technology domain/s experience
- Business process re-engineering experience
- Relevant certification and/or experience in Program Management or capability building
- SAP, GCP, Salesforce are few of the critical tech stacks however not a constrain.

This includes identifying opportunities for innovation and developing a clear, long-term strategy to position the IT service provider for success.
- Change Management: Successful transformation often involves significant changes to processes, culture, and technology. The VP should be adept at creating and implementing change management strategies that ensure a smooth transition for the organization, including effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and addressing resistance.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Team Leadership: A VP of Transformation must be a strong leader capable of inspiring and mobilizing cross-functional teams. This involves fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The ability to build and lead high-performance teams is crucial for driving successful transformation initiatives.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaboration with various stakeholders, both internal and external, is essential. This includes aligning with C-suite executives, working closely with business units, and building strong relationships with clients. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for navigating complex organizational structures and relationships.
- Industry and Technical Acumen:
- Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the IT services industry, including emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive landscapes, is critical. This knowledge enables the VP to make informed decisions, identify growth opportunities, and ensure that the organization remains competitive and relevant in the rapidly evolving IT sector.
- Technology Literacy: While the VP may not be a hands-on technologist, having a strong grasp of emerging technologies and their potential applications is important. This allows the VP to make informed decisions about technology investments, partnerships, and innovation initiatives that drive the transformation agenda.
In addition to these three primary skill sets, adaptability, resilience, and a focus on results are also key attributes for a successful VP of Transformation. This role requires an individual who can navigate uncertainty, drive change, and lead the organization toward a future characterized by innovation and sustained growth in the dynamic IT services landscape.
