CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.  CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. CHI St. Alexius Health offers a comprehensive line of inpatient and outpatient medical services, including: a Level II Trauma Center, primary and specialty physician clinics, home health and hospice services, durable medical equipment services, a fitness and human performance center and ancillary services throughout western and central North Dakota.

Responsibilities

Works under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator. The LPN contributes to the assessment, plan, and implementation of patient care under the direction of the RN on a nursing unit according to policies and procedures while maintaining standards of the State Nurse Practice Act. The LPN delegates to unlicensed assistive personnel according to the North Dakota Board of Nursing delegation rules. All the criteria-based duties and standards within this document will be performed according to the policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Medical Center. 

What You'll Do:

Qualifications

Education: Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing. 


Licensure: Licensed to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state of ND or in a compact state. Graduate Practical Nurse (G.P.N) must practice under the supervision of a registered nurse while the work authorization to practice is valid.
