Job Title: Facility Project Manager
Location: Texas (Remote)
JOB SUMMARY
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, manage, and maintain the project charter, project plan, risk register, and other critical project management deliverables.
- Responsible for reporting on project status, milestones, and risk as well as scope, schedule, and budget.
- Establish and support, in partnership with the project owners, regular project team meetings. Track progress and provide status updates to appropriate leadership.
- Collaborate with the project owner to ensure project expectations are proactively communicated.
- Collaborate with vendors, consultants, contractors, and business and technical teams' oversight to ensure that solutions stay within scope, cost and schedule, and that risks are properly managed and mitigated.
- Develop and assist in the procurement process which includes creating Statements of Work, independent cost estimates, and other documents as required.
- Assist in the procurement process for project related professional services, vendor services, and consultant contracts.
- Conduct field work and field visits as required for project execution.
- Provide project management support as special assignments as needed to the four other Strategic Programs and Organizational Readiness teams in addition to primary focus on EPPM:
- Enterprise Data Analytics Platform, Project Connect Integration, Enterprise Sustainability Program, Zero Emissions Vehicle Program,
Manage or assist in managing the following:
o Project implementation plans, resource allocation, risk analysis, quality assurance,
schedules, and budgets.
o Regular documentation and review of lessons learned to ensure continuous improvement.
o Manage Consultant/contractor submittals to ensure timely reviews and responses from the right stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in project management, or related subject area. Additional related experience may substitute for a degree on a year for year basis up to four years.
Master's degree may substitute for two years of work experience.
Three (3) years of project management experience.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Institute (PMI)
Proficient experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, Sharepoint and Project.
