Job description
Aderas, Inc. is seeking an Instructional System Developer to join the team.
Primary Job Duties:
- Define and document learning objectives.
- Create new computer-based training (CBT) modules and storyboards and/or modify existing CBTs to improve learning.
- Create instructional material: courses, curriculum, student guides or training manuals.
- Design content to optimize learning with activities, assignments, and assessments.
- Redesign content to ensure it matches the learner’s needs.
- Create visual, audio, and interactive learning(products).
- Knowledgeable in Graphic design
- Utilize authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate) to build and assemble training modules.
- Conduct thorough testing of training programs and products to identify and fix bugs or technical issues.
- Ensure content is compatible with different devices and platforms, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones
- Understand SCORM, ADDIE, SAM, and Rapid Course Development principles, methodologies
- Publish CBT training files and training documents.
- Development of training material in compliance with Section 508
- Conduct research and collaborate with subject experts.

Required Education & Work Experience:
- BS or higher degree in instructional design, education, or related field
- 3+ years experience in instructional design
- 3+ years experience with learning management systems and courseware development tools Adobe Captivate, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe InDesign, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Articulate Storyline 360.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of implementing and troubleshooting CBTs into a learning management system.
- Ability to create, test, and review new and existing course materials for the development of Computer-Based Training (CBT) and Web Based Training (WBT).
- Ability to work under a tight deadline.
- Must possess excellent communication skills, be dependable, outgoing, and positive with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to storyboard for CBT as needed
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required for Applicants (Secret Clearance requires U.S. Citizenship)
