Overview Chadwell Supply Receiving Personnel receive and stock product goods and materials from Chadwell Supply vendors, Chadwell Supply Distribution Centers, and Chadwell delivery drivers that have picked up local products. Daily work schedules vary according to business transactions and customer needs. Work shifts may include and require late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays. The Receiving Lead both performs and oversees that all inbound product from vendors and distribution branches is checked and counted against packing slips and receiving documents for quantity and shipment accuracy. The Receiving Lead ensures that all products are stocked and shelved in the correct bin locations and that all products that have been received are recorded by bin location and quantity in the computer operating system. All products received should be processed and stocked within a 24-hour period.
What you will need - Must be at least 21 years old,
- Computer literacy is essential.
- Maintain a valid driver's license issued in the state of his or her employment.
- Physical fitness is necessary for tasks involving lifting over 60 pounds, standing for extended periods, climbing steps, and operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts.
- Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or specified education such as an AS, BA, etc.
How you will make an Impact - Perform a daily inspection of all warehouse equipment including all fluid levels, tire condition, and general operation worthiness of all equipment, and provide written notification of any unsafe conditions to management.
- Perform and complete checking, counting, receiving, and stocking of inbound products and all other duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain and submit as directed all daily delivery receipts, and relay specific receiving or product issues or requests to management via delivery documents.
- Maintain and report accurate daily records of products received, number of receipts, and all unusual occurrences.
- Generously assist in loading and unloading goods onto or off delivery vehicles as required and according to operating proceeds.
- Record, process, and re-stock all customer-returned products delivered by delivery drivers.
- Prepare shipping documents and process by shipping UPS or LTL customer product orders or branch transfers including arranging transportation providers.
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse and dock area and conduct weekly safety meetings with receiving personnel.
- Approve timecards and payroll for all direct reports.
- Ensure timely completion of employee reviews.
