Job description
Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Manchester, NH to bring on a temporary Cost Accountant. This is strictly a temp position. This is a hybrid position and will be 3 days in the office.
Job Title : Cost Accountant
Pay : $25.00 - $35.00 depending on experience
Schedule : Hybrid Position
Office Days : (REQUIRED) Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Position Requirements: - Assist in calculating cost updates including material, labor, overhead, and freight
- Evaluate product profitability with special emphasis on negative and low margin products
- Review item, BOM, route (IBRs) for accuracy
- Provide cost information for Part Change Notices (PCN) and audit PCNs upon implementation
- Calculate costs for new product introduction
- Review project costs
- Prepare and enter budget and forecast data
- Provide costing support, training and guidance to R&D, SBUs, and Product Data Management group as required
- Provide financial analysis for all Appropriations Requests
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc reporting as required
Job Qualifications: - Abilty to work a 6-8 week contract assignment
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and 2+ years related experience
- Strong analytical skills, solid attention to detail and strong demonstrated sense of curiosity
- Previous experience in manufacturing company a plus
- Accountability for deadlines and the ability to thrive in an evolving, fast-paced environment including multiple projects and competing priorities
- Ability to work in a self-directed, independent manner as well as a member within a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
