Job description
KidsTLC transforms the lives of children and families experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges, developmental trauma, and autism. We implement a variety of evidence-based and researched best practices in our clinical services and treatment planning. KidsTLC delivers an integrated spectrum of medical, clinical, and residential services to children and families. Youth are typically placed out of the home (within the state of Kansas) due to behavioral or emotional disruption.
The Residential Therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic services and treatment planning for youth receiving residential treatment at KidsTLC. The therapist practices under intensive clinical supervision as needed and consistent with licensure status. The therapist provides individual, family, and group therapies, participates in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team for treatment, and supports families and stakeholders in discharge planning. The majority of this position’s time is spent in therapeutic services, crisis management, client staffing, and collaborating with the treatment team. Additional time is spent on documentation, researching, gathering, compiling, organizing, and analyzing data.
Must have the ability to assess and identify program measurements and outcomes.
