1WorldSync is the industry leader in product content management. With approximately 700 employees across the US, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, and the UK, we’re seeking a HR Coordinator to support our growing global team.
Reporting directly to our HR Manager for Compensation & Benefits , the HR Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our team by responding to employee questions and performing administrative functions related to benefits management, compliance, and employee development. This position requires a proactive approach to addressing employee needs.
As a HR Coordinator at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:
Assist with benefit and leave administration and become familiar with all benefits plans
Manage the Human Resources email inbox, responding to employee inquiries on topics including benefits coverages, payroll deductions, and time off, resolving issues promptly with a high level of employee satisfaction
Develop and deliver communication materials to educate employees about benefits, compensation changes, and Human Resources practices and policies
Oversee administrative aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, including processing employee paperwork and managing systems access
Conduct new hire orientations
Assist with annual reporting and audits, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of data provided
Create and run reports from systems for audits
Assist with maintaining accurate employee records within various HR systems
NetSuite, PlanSource, NAVEX, etc.
Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration
Serve as the main point of contact for our spot bonus program, including software administration
Administer the department’s compliance training software, including tracking employee completion of assigned modules and preparing audit reports
Communicate with external vendors to address employee questions or troubleshoot software issues
Collaborate with Accounts Payable on the processing of monthly billings for group benefits plans
Prepare global quarterly HR wellness newsletter and assist with company-wide quarterly newsletter
Maintain the employee Intranet to ensure availability of current resources
Support and track signatures for company policies
Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the value and efficiency of benefit programs and other HR offerings
Assist with other Human Resources team projects
Facilities support back up coverage for Chicago Office
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
1+ years of experience providing customer service or support to internal or external parties, both verbally and in writing
1+ years of experience authoring employee- and/or customer-facing communications
1+ years of experience handling confidential and sensitive information
Desired Skills and Experience:
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail with good organizational skills
Experience in ERP & CRM System
1WS uses NetSuite
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint and basic Excel functions (sum, average, formatting charts, pivot tables)
A desire to advance knowledge of Human Resources functions

Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position ($24.04 - $25.50/hourly, depending on experience) and a 5% target annual bonus.

Additional Details:
This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days per week at our Chicago headquarters location.
This role requires the candidate to have the authority to work in and be located in the US.
