WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a member of the Customer Support Team, the Customer Field Support Specialist / A&P (Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic)will assist customers, aircraft operators, mechanics, and service centers with aircraft-specific support questions. The Field Support Specialist will ensure the customer support and service experience from time of delivery until time of trade-in is second to none. This role is critical to the Epic customer ownership experience which drives brand reputation & repeat business. This role will start in the maintenance shop to gain hands-on experience with the Epic fleet. This is a great job for you if you are looking for a career you can grow with. Other duties may include:
- Leading or assisting customers with AOG operations
- Interfacing with the parts department for warranty parts
- Communicating with vendors and supplier-customer support personnel
- Working with the Epic Engineering team for troubleshooting and solution development
- Interface with the Sales and Marketing divisions
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- FAA airframe and powerplant license
- Previous aircraft maintenance experience
- Customer support experience of any kind
- Computer skills including data entry
- Ability to multi-task
- Neat, clean business attire and attitude
- Willingness to be on-call on a rotating schedule (Able to answer phone calls)
- Ability to read and understand Blueprints, drawings, wiring diagrams and system schematics
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals
- Experience writing and proofreading technical documents
- Mechanical skills
- Willingness to perform maintenance, kit-proofing, redlining documents pertaining to specific maintenance tasks
- Must work well with others
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively alone with limited direction
- Authorized to legally work in the U.S. for any company without sponsorship now or in the future

Desirable but not required (training is provided)
- Aviation customer service experience preferred
- Pilot license preferred but not required
- Experience with CRM platforms, especially HubSpot, is a plus
- Experience with Garmin avionics systems is a plus
- Experience working on Epic Aircraft is desired but not required
